A man shot in North Portland on Friday evening has died. Deandre Clark, 25, died just after midnight Monday, Oct. 24, according to a police report.
Clark was the victim of a shooting reported around 10:10 p.m. Friday Oct. 21 at N. Haight Avenue and N. Emerson St. No suspects have been arrested. Police are treating the shooting as a gang-related attack.

Police say they launched a 'cool down" operation in an attampt to prevent retaliation for Clarks's killing. They arrested four young men early Tuesday Oct. 25 after stopping their car at East Burnside and 162nd Avenue. Police say the men are "known gang members and associates."
According to the police report:
"As officers approached the car they observed a .357 revolver in plain sight which was later determined to be loaded. The four gang members were arrested and the car was impounded. The officers wrote a search warrant and recovered a second firearm, a loaded 9 mm pistol.
These arrests likely kept additional acts of violence from occurring.
The four people arrested were, 21-year-old Jeray Jessie was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Carrying a Loaded Firearm in Pubic. 30-year-old Emanuel Hall who was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Loaded Firearm, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Theft in the First Degree. 19-year-old Jawan Moody who was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Parole Violation, and Carrying a Loaded Firearm in Public. 25-year-old Jonathon Johnson who was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Carrying a Loaded Firearm in Public. "
